For those of you that have experienced the pleasures of cruising, you already know how relaxing, fun and entertaining a cruise can be. MediaPro University workshops combine all that a cruise has to offer with intensive hands-on instruction in the art and techniques of photography. Nowhere else do you get to learn photography on board a ship or in exotic locations, and be in the company of some of the best photographers working today. This is not your typical classroom setting. As a MediaPro student you can expect to not only capture unforgettable images, but also make memories that will last a lifetime.
Workshop classes are structured specifically to allow you time to take shore excursions or participate in cruise activities. In fact, we do our best to work your photography classes and assignments into, and around, these various activities. Your cruise destinations, as well as the ship itself, play an integral role in providing location backdrops and photo opportunities that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. An example of a MediaPro workshop day, is to start with a morning class then head into Ensenada, Mexico in search of great images for your portfolio. If you should decide to stop for some shopping or you want to get in some snorkeling…we don’t mind, in fact, we encourage you to experience all that you can. We know that you will not only find many opportunities to take amazing photos but you will enjoy the process of learning photography even more than you would in a strict classroom setting.
On Board Activities
Daytime
Done with your classes and assignments? Once your workshop wraps up for the day, why not enjoy a swim in the pool, grab some sunshine on deck or just relax with some friends and classmates? One of the greatest benefits of a MediaPro University workshop, is the ability to vacation while you learn!
Nightlife
The ship lights up when the sun goes down! Casinos, shows, bars and clubs whatever your preference. You can gamble, dance or play the night away on a Carnival fun ship. Just don't miss class the next morning!
Food
Total choice dining satisfies every appetite with one delicious eating experience after another. Start your day with a formal breakfast,dining a room service or the Lido deck buffet. Grab a seat for lunch outdoors or slide into the ship's pizzeria for a salad or fresh baked calzone. Wind up your day in an elegant dining room or supper club with a perfectly prepared steak, lobster or even sushi. (note: alcoholic drinks & some additional beverage selections are not included in your workshop cruise fees.)

Fun Ship Fitness Center
If working out is on your agenda, you will be pleasantly surprised at all the options available to you onboard. Spend some time in the gym, on the jogging track or taking a yoga or aerobics class and end your workout in the sauna. A perfect way to stay in shape while cruising!

Feel the need to be pampered? Carnival Cruise ships offer an extensive list of spa treatments, massages and even a beauty salon so you can always look and feel your best. (Additional costs for spa treatments apply and are not included in your workshop fees)
