Q: Who should attend?

A:  Anyone who has an interest in photography and wishes to improve  his or her their skills should attend.  Beginners, intermediate, or those with Advanced to Professional level skills are all welcome and will benefit from the classes offered. For those photographers that are "stuck" in a rut working one type of style of photography and wish to expand their portfolio in another field our workshops are a great way to explore new areas of photography.

Q: Can I bring a companion or my family on the cruise but not to the workshop?

A:  Yes!  We will be happy to assist you with booking a companion cruise package at the cruise only rate.

Q: Do your classes qualify for Employer Reimbursement programs and can you help me get reimbursed from my employer?

A:  Before you enroll, make sure the program is indeed covered by your company's tuition reimbursement program.   Follow all company reimbursement procedures as your reimbursement process is individual to your company.  We cannot prepare your paperwork for you, but we are more than happy to speak with your employer about our program and answer any questions they may have regarding our curriculum. Just have your program representative call us at 1-800-541-3847.

Q: What if the course cancels?

A:  You have the option of receiving a refund or transferring your fees to another scheduled workshop.

Q: Can I register on-site on the first day of the course?

A:  No, due to the nature of our workshop venue space restrictions we cannot allow for same day enrollment, with that being said, we recommend you register as soon as possible to insure a spot. Plus, your advance commitment helps to give the course adequate enrollment numbers so we don't have to cancel the class unnecessarily.

Q: How often are course schedules released ?

A:  We do our best to post workshop schedules as soon as they are confirmed, please check our website calendar for updates.

Q: Can I upgrade my cabin?

A:  Yes!  Inside cabin level stateroom accommodations are included in the cost of your workshop. However, if you wish to upgrade your cabin you may pay the cruise line upgrade rate provided that cabins are available.  You can upgrade at the time of your workshop enrollment or anytime up to the cruise date provided that cabins are available.

Q: Do I need a passport?

A:  YES, our policy is that our students acquire passports as we are traveling out of the United States.  As it is not yet passed into law, we are anticipating the necessary change for all international travelers by January, 2009.

Q: I am not a U.S. Citizen, can I still take your workshop and go on the cruise?

A:  Absolutely! We welcome anyone from any country that wishes to participate; all you need is the correct travel & passport documents, as well as an understanding of the English language.  Some of our staff members are also multi-lingual and speak French, Spanish as well as English, so please feel free to come along!

Q: Is my workshop fee refundable if I cannot come or change my mind?

A:  Due to cruise line restrictions we must adhere to Carnival Cruise Lines policies which dictate how refunds are processed (please click here to read our cancellation policy for more details). However, if you are concerned about your ability to attend, we recommend paying for optional travel insurance.

Q: What do I need to bring to the workshop?

A: All you will need to bring is a digital camera. DSLR is preferred but not required. Laptops are highly recommended. All other photography equipment is optional. We also recommend that you visit www.carnival.com to learn more about cruise attire and any other items you may want to bring along on your trip.
